Technical Support - Setting up Sensors on BMW, Smart Car and Some Others Which Don't Have Gas Pedal Levers

Some cars may feature pedals without levers, making it challenging to affix simulator sensors securely. Below, we outline a potential solution.
Regardless of the chosen approach, it's crucial to ensure that the sensor remains firmly attached to the pedal.
Additionally, precautions should be taken to prevent a driver from accidentally coming into contact with the sensor using their foot, as it should not be dislodged or damaged during operation.
Always verify that the sensor does not touch the floor when the pedal is depressed. Confirm this by gently pressing the pedal with your hand before allowing the driver to operate the vehicle. If the sensor is too close to the floor, it may risk being damaged when the driver uses the pedal. By following these guidelines, you can ensure the reliable and safe operation of the pedal sensor while minimizing the risk of damage or interference during its use.

1. Using a Philips screwdriver remove the sensor cover with the clip and the velcro.
Make sure you do not touch the electronic board inside.

2. Apply a velcro or a T-Lock fastener to the side of the sensor box. Choose a fastener that will hold sensor box in place firmly.

3. Apply a fastener to the back of the top back of the pedal and mount the sensor as shown.

4. Check that the sensor is firmly attached to the pedal and check that it's moving freely with the pedal. Make sure no wire is in the way of a driver's foot.
